Bio Note

My interest in music sparked in my late teens when I fell in love with the classical guitar.  My passion for the guitar grew into an interest in composition and a quest for learning new an unusual instruments, such as the Ronroco and the Dorbo resonator guitar.  I received a BA in Film Scoring and Music Composition from the Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music in Composition from Yale.  At Yale, I had the privilege to study with two great American composers, Ezra Laderman and Joseph Schwantner. After completing my musical studies I took a detour from music and graduated with honors from the Boston University School of Law.  I practiced law as a derivatives attorney for several years before returning to my original passion for music.
